Ready for anything! Christina Aguilera revealed what’s in the multiple bags she brings to the set of NBC’s The Voice, as seen in Us Weekly’s exclusive clip.
“I’m like the bag lady of all time. I leave with like 50 bags from my house, each one carrying something specific and different,” the Grammy winner says with a smile. Aguilera returned to The Voice for its 10th season after singer Gwen Stefani took her place for the show’s ninth season.
“We have my go-to lip bag. Little lip glosses and things like that,” the mother of two shares. “My red LipSense that doesn’t come off during a performance because I eat the mic whenever I perform.” The mic isn’t the only thing to touch Aguilera’s lips. In a recent episode, the former The Mickey Mouse Club member shocked the audience and her fellow coaches when she locked lips with a female contestant, Kata Hay.
Though the number of bags Aguilera brings to work may be high, the contents are pretty standard for a famous singer: throat sprays, pens, perfume and tea. However, there is one bag that might strike some as unusual.
“I have my crystals to keep me zen and calm and peaceful in this little pouch,” Aguilera, 35, explains. “All for good luck.”
Season 10 of The Voice airs on NBC on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST. This is Aguilera’s sixth time coaching on the show, rejoining Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams.
