The Bachelor fans have a lot to say about Ben Higgins getting down on one knee to propose to Lauren Bushnell — and breaking JoJo Fletcher‘s heart in the process!
In the ABC dating series’ season 20 finale on Monday, March 14, the software salesman, 26, popped the question to Bushnell, 25, calling her his “person.”
He also informed Fletcher, 24, that she wouldn’t be getting his final rose: “I found [love] with you, but I found it with somebody else more.”
The news came after Higgins had infamously professed his love for both women during the February 29 fantasy-suites episode. In the finale, Fletcher chided Higgins for having used the L-word with her, telling him that he “shouldn’t have done that.”
The finale led to a flurry of Twitter responses, with members of Bachelor Nation including Chris Soules and Sean Lowe weighing in with pics, GIFs and quips.
