Get the tissues ready! After previously professing his love for both Lauren Bushnell and JoJo Fletcher, the time finally came for Ben Higgins to end his relationship with Fletcher in The Bachelor‘s season 20 finale on Monday, March 14.
Higgins broke the news to her on the beach that she would not be getting his final rose. This followed a tense scene during their one-on-one in Jamaica in which the Denver-based software salesman, 26, retreated with the Dallas-based real estate developer, 24, into the hotel bathroom in an effort to get away from the cameras. The pair sat on the bathroom floor as he confessed that he also said the L-word to Bushnell, 25.
“I didn’t know if I could find love,” the Bachelor told Fletcher on the ABC dating series. “I found it with you, but I found it with somebody else more. And I don’t want to let go because I don’t want to say goodbye.”
“JoJo, even on a day like today, I still don’t question that I do love you,” he continued.
