Live from the pink carpet! Us Weekly’s 2016 Most Stylish New Yorkers pulled on their weekday best for a party at New York City’s Vandal on Tuesday, September 13. Bethenny Frankel, Christina Milian, Desiigner, Maxwell and many more talked to Us about their pre-event rituals as well as their favorite fall trends to bag or swag. It turns out that some of our honorees are, well, just like Us when it comes to prepping for a big night. “You gotta shoot a selfie before you go,” Milian, who stunned in an olive green strapless leather jumpsuit, dished. Maxwell’s list of night-out necessities includes a very simple staple: “Breath mints. Very important,” he joked.
As for fall 2016 fashion must-haves, many of our Stylish New Yorkers like Tamron Hall, who wore a sweeping black and brown Sophie Theallet gown, plan on swagging out in velvet. And Padma Lakshmi, who glowed in a black and metallic-gold Monique Lhuillier maxidress, is grabbing one of our go-to accessories, chokers, for the season. But one thing to put away in Stacey Bendet’s eyes? Flats, at least for the night. “‘Cause it’s a party!” the Alice + Olivia designer explained.
