Selena Gomez knows how to turn it out for a red carpet. Case in point: the triple threat turned up at the premiere of Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation wearing the ultimate fancy summer look, complete with a blue and white toile print Oscar de la Renta two-piece (not unlike the wrap dress that Meghan Markle recently wore) giving us all the answer to the question, “what should I wear to that summer wedding?”
Let’s talk about her two piece first. Gomez wore an ODLR Bustier Top with a sweetheart neckline, fitted silhouette and cropped hem and a matching midi skirt with a raw trim. This of course, lent to a deconstructed, cool-girl feel in a look that would have otherwise been described as classic and uber fancy. And the blue and white print, though timeless, added a summery air that makes us all want to ditch our favorite minis for the dressier vibe.
While her crop top and skirt were undoubtedly an irreverent take on formalwear, Gomez also added some majorly glam bejeweled elements. Not only was the “Back to You” singer wearing Miu Miu Jeweled Glitter Pumps, but she also carried a crystal covered Jimmy Choo Cloud Clutch. For a touch more bling, Gomez also sported Tiffany & Co diamond hoop earrings and and a diamond cross pendant.
Given that the look was the perfect blend of sweetheart glamour, Gomez’s beauty look followed the same lines. Makeup artist Hung Vanngo pulled her ingenue vibes together with a touch of Le Marc Lip Creme in Strawberry Girl on her pout. The effect: Gomez looked sweeter than honey, but her look had a touch of edge, just the way she likes it.
