Shine bright like a diamond — or at least shimmer like one! Rihanna stepped out at the Ocean’s 8 premiere in New York City on Tuesday, June 5, wearing a pleated liquid metal-inspired Givenchy dress, Bulgari jewels and a luminous beauty look that perfectly tied the whole ensemble together. The Fenty Beauty founder sported mega-watt radiance and a sparkling metallic eye and lip combo (that nearly perfectly matched her ruffled frock), and while she hasn’t revealed the name of the special lipstick she was wearing, we’ve got all the details on how she got her glow for the evening.

Fenty global makeup artist Priscilla Ono was the pro behind the look. To start, she prepped RiRi’s skin with the brand’s Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer. The multi-tasker mattifies and lays the groundwork for a #flawless makeup application. Ono then applied the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation in 340 (which has a soft matte finish) and the Match Stix Matte Skinstick in Peach as a concealer to even out her complexion.

Next, it was all about the contour and highlight. To sculpt the singer-cum-actress’ sky-high cheekbones, Priscilla employed the Match Stix Matte Skinstick in Mocha (a few shades deeper than her natural skin tone), while the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Moscow Mule/Ginger Binge pulled double duty as a blush and glow-booster from the apples of the cheeks all the way up to the temples.

Turns out Rihanna is #JustLikeUs and needs a bit of setting powder, too, every now and again. To deal with excess shine and oil in the T-zone area especially, Ono applied the brand’s Invisimatte Blotting Powder, which also helps to diffuse the appearance of pores for a Instagram filter-like effect.

And what about that killer metallic eye/lip combo? Well, we hear it’s the handiwork of some top-secret Fenty products that have yet to hit the market. But, if you’re dying to get your hands on the super cool grey-purple hues sooner, we’d say the brand’s existing Galaxy Eyeshadow Palette and Starlit Hyper-Glitz Lipstick in Sci-Fly make for pretty good dupes in the meantime!
