Change you can believe in? Michelle Obama ditched her bangs in favor of yet another hair makeover recently, debuting some auburn and honey-colored highlights in her usually dark 'do on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
The First Lady, 49, showed off her colorful new locks during a Washington, D.C., screening of The Powerbroker: Whitney Young's Fight for Civil Rights. With the lighter strands styled in face-framing curls, her entire look appeared brighter.
Of course, this is not the first time President Obama's wife has made headlines for her hair. In January, on her 49th birthday, she revealed newly shorn bangs — which she later said may have been a mistake.
"This is my mid-life crisis, the bangs," the FLOTUS joked to Rachael Ray in a Skype interview in February. "I couldn't get a sports car, they won't let me bungee jump — so instead, I cut my bangs." A few months later, in April, she told Entertainment Tonight: "The bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They're starting to grow out. They're getting a little irritating. But it's okay."
