What a vision! Mariah Carey went for a fan-favorite throwback look on Sunday, March 22, while out on a dinner date with Courtney Love and director Brett Ratner.
The “Heartbreaker” diva wore a yellow leather jacket and black dress with thigh-high boots. Carey wore her thick hair curled in an homage to her 1990 “Vision of Love” music video.
Mimi posted a shot from the outing at Craigs in Hollywood on Instagram, writing, “#shenanigans with @courtneylove and @brettrat.”
The Hole singer, 50, wore a black dress and heels with her blonde hair down and wavy. The single mom looked much more conservative and composed than her wild child, skin-baring ‘90s persona. Love recently had a recurring role as Elle Dallas on Fox’s smash hit series Empire.
The surely fascinating exchange between the two notorious divas was left a mystery, but there’s no doubt Ratner got an earful.
Clearly the longtime film director and producer, who directed Carey’s 1999 “Heartbreaker” music video, was the link between the two, having recently snapped a selfie with both ladies at two different parties.
The chart-topping pop star also recently performed at the GLAAD Awards, where she posed with Love’s Empire costar Jussie Smollett on the red carpet.
“Thank you Jussie Smollett for the fabulous introduction!” she captioned the shot after Smollett introduced her performance of “Hero.”
