Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner ruled the red carpet at the Game of Thrones season six premiere in Los Angeles on April 10. The actresses, who play sisters Arya and Sansa Stark, showed up in mature (but fun!) styles.
Williams, 18, flaunted her toned midriff in an Emilio de la Morena two-piece gown. Her bandeau top, trimmed with black, featured an abstract floral print in tan and powder blue. Williams’ orange printed midiskirt, topped with the same trim, was short enough to show off her silver strappy Jimmy Choo sandals. She carried a Christian Louboutin minaudière in her Astrid & Miyu–bejeweled hands while her Lola and Grace ear cuff sparkled beneath her wavy lob.
Meanwhile, Turner, 20, wowed in a cranberry-red one-shoulder Stella McCartney column dress finished with a 20-inch pooling train, paired with Paul Andrew sandals. Turner’s low neckline was the perfect canvas for her gold Jennifer Fisher choker, while her double braid updo let her Anita Ko earrings really shine.
The castmates of Williams and Turner also noted the Stark sisters’ changes as well. “Arya went from a cute little girl into an assassin that’s blind,” Dean Charles Champman, who plays Tommen Baratheon, told Us Weekly at the premiere. “I wasn’t expecting that!”
And Sansa “has turned into a far stronger, more mature woman growing,” Michael McElhatton, who characterizes Roose Bolton, said.
