What the bride says, goes. Just ask Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino. The Jersey Shore reality T.V. star married Lauren Pesce on Thursday, November 1, at The Legacy Castle in New Jersey, and his bride made him grow his hair out for the occasion.
In an exclusive interview with Us, Sorrentino revealed that his longer hair was his now-wife’s decision. “She made me grow my hair out for the wedding,” he said. Pesce explained her reasoning behind the request — and to be fair, she makes a great point. “I did make him grow his hair out. I did not want a bald face in a tuxedo for the wedding photos, plus he has really nice hair, so I was like, ‘Most guys pay for that hair, so let’s grow it out and have beautiful photos.’ I think the hair definitely pulled it together and I was… he looked incredible,” she said.
The couple tied the knot in a ceremony which they described “like a fairy-tale dream come true.” 33-year-old Pesce wore a Provonias gown and a matching veil from Castle Couture for her walk down the aisle. Sorrentino also made a dashing figure in custom tuxedos by Robbie’s NYC. Clearly the duo made a fitting pair while saying their vows in front of their loved ones (and the cast of The Jersey Shore).
