Call it a post-wedding makeover!
If you're still reeling over Lauren Conrad's major hair makeover that she debuted on Wednesday, Oct. 22, hold on to your curling irons: The newlywed, 28, might not be done chopping her blonde locks just yet.
Conrad's longtime stylist, Kristin Ess, cut the Paper Crown designer's long hair into a trendy lob. "We were waiting until post-wedding as she wanted her signature long locks for that day," Ess tells Us Weekly. "I never thought I would hear her say she wanted to go short again, but I'm so excited that she did."
Ess, who co-founded The Beauty Department blog, also played up Conrad's California blonde color and added lowlights for depth to the "layered long" style. "We cut it gradually because it's fun to see it at different lengths — and we had the time to play around," Ess tells Us. "Lauren loves the length!"
However, that doesn't mean that the scissors are taking a break. "Who knows," Ess teases, "it could still be a little shorter in the near future."
