Once, twice, three times the lady! Jennifer Lopez stole the show in three sexy looks at the 2016 Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday, November 17.
The “Ain’t Your Mama” singer, 47, first hit the Las Vegas red carpet in a deep violet beaded Zuhair Murad jumpsuit with flared pants. The sparkling one-piece actually inspired her hair and glam, according to Lopez’s makeup artist Mary Phillips. “If you saw the supersexy, sheer, deep maroon, beaded jumper that fit her like a glove, the stick straight hair parted down the center, and the glowing radiant skin with subtlety faded hues on her eyes, cheeks and lips, you might infer that we as the glam squad instantly thought about the most modern ’70s beauty possible,” Phillips, on behalf of L’Oreal Paris, tells Stylish. “If you did, you’d be right.”
Perhaps Lopez’s next look was influenced by her glam, and not the other way around. A gold embellished Elie Saab romper with long sleeves and a plunging neckline along with Giuseppe Zanotti Design gold and black python embossed Harmony sandals matched her bronzy eyes and cheeks.
For her final ensemble, Lopez didn’t just turn heads for her kiss with Marc Anthony during their duet. She sparkled in a custom off-white Labourjoisie beaded and fringed caftan that showed off her endlessly long legs.
Before performing “Olvídame y Pega la Vuelta” with Anthony and presenting him with the Person of the Year honor, Lopez delivered a touching speech to honor her husband of seven years.
“Marc is a living legend. He is a magical and pure artist giving away classics that will stay forever. He will always be many things in my life,” she said. “He will always be a lot of things to me. He’s my kindred spirit. My love.”
