It was Throwback Thursday, after all! Right after switching it up with her new rose-gold hair on Thursday, October 6, Kylie Jenner stepped out in a pair of pants ripped straight from the early 2000s.
The Kylie Lip Kit entrepreneur, 19, went out for a lunch date with boyfriend Tyga in Made Gold Betty Lace Up Jean in Drive along with white low-top sneakers and a cropped silk camisole that matched her hair. Even though the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was just a tot in the early 2000s, she embraced the decade with her bottoms. Flared jeans from brands like Mudd and l.e.i. were typically covered in criss-cross on the sides or on the crotch, instead of using a zipper.
Jenner’s retro style was one of three outfits she treated her fans to that day on social media. While dyeing her hair, she covered up in an oversize gray hoodie with red trim and no bra. But for what appeared to be a photo shoot, she swapped her casual top for a luxe white fur jacket teamed with a silk top.
Though she’s been active on social media, Jenner is keeping a low profile after older half-sister Kim Kardashian’s robbery in Paris on Monday, October 3. The reality star, 35, was tied up and gagged as thieves who masqueraded as police officers ransacked her hotel room for luxury goods, including her new 20-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring.
“Appearances are being canceled for them because of the robbery,” a source tells Us Weekly. “Kendall, Kylie and Khloé have canceled upcoming book signings.”
And it may remain that way for a while. “The family is all on lockdown right now,” a second source adds. “They’re deciding when to discuss the situation and how to move forward.”
