Rawr! Kylie Jenner showed off her sporty side in the first released photos for her campaign for Puma, which she posted on Instagram on Sunday, March 13.
"Excited to reveal my campaign for the @PUMA Fierce, a lightweight trainer with zero excuses, available starting 4/1 on PUMA.com, PUMA retail stores, and select retailers worldwide," Jenner, 18, wrote via social media. "The next level starts here #ForeverFierce."
In the two pics, the Lip Kit creator wears a royal blue branded sports bra with matching patterned running capris and the high-tongued sneakers. Next to her on the concrete wall are puma claw scratches in the shape of an X. In another photo, shared on the brand's social pages, Jenner wears the same outfit while playfully working her b-ball moves.
After Us Weekly exclusively revealed her seven-figure deal with the athletic company on February 8, Jenner incurred the wrath of her brother-in-law Kanye West. "1000% there will never be a Kylie Puma anything. That's on my family! 1000% Kylie is on Yeezy team!!!" West, 38, tweeted on February 9.
But soon after, the bad blood evaporated and the "Famous" rapper took back his statement. "She already signed," West told TMZ on February 17. "And I was mad for a little bit. I'm really happy for her, though."
Ahead of Ye's apology, Puma confirmed the exciting news. "I am pleased and excited to be able to confirm that Puma is indeed working with Kylie Jenner," the brand's global brand and marketing director, Adam Petrick, shared. "Kylie will be featured in the brand’s Spring/Summer women’s training campaign launching in April 2016. Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion and we couldn’t think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for Puma.”
