Kylie Jenner knows she’s a trendsetter now. But in the early days of her stardom, it was a trippy experience to see fans copying her look.
When the Kylie Lip Kit creator, 18, noticed the pattern, it took her aback. “I remember I was at this carnival one time — super random — and I saw three different girls with the same exact nails that I had before,” she told Us Weekly at the launch of her King Kylie Sinful Shine collaboration with SinfulColors on Tuesday, February 16. “And I’m like, ‘This is crazy!’ I didn’t realize I had such a nail influence.”
The mani in question was an eye-catching look. “They were ‘Evil Eyes’ — everyone had at least one Evil Eye or a bunch of Evil Eyes,” she explained. “It was cool.”
But pretty polishes aren’t the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s only charting trend. “I started to realize my reach when I did a bunch of meet and greets for mine and my sister’s PacSun line [in 2013],” she told Us. “Almost every girl would have gray hair if I had gray hair. [If I had blue hair], every girl would have blue hair and she’d be like, ‘I did it because of you!'”
