That white gold! Kristin Cavallari showed off a brand-new, platinum-blonde hair color at the 2016 Carousel of Hope Ball on Saturday, October 8, in Beverly Hills.
“She wanted to have a real winter-white moment and go against the trend for going darker in the fall,” her colorist, dpHUE Creative Director Justin Anderson, tells Stylish. To maintain the new shade, the pro notes that Cavallari uses dpHUE’s Cool Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner “to keep her hair light, bright and non-brassy.”
The previously dirty blonde Hills alum, 29, worked her near-white tresses styled into loose waves by celebrity hairstylist Scotty Cunha. She complemented the hue with a frosted pink makeup palette by Karan Mitchell, including shimmering eyes, lightly blushed cheeks and a peony-pink lip.
Keeping to the rosy theme, Cavallari, who shares three children with her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, modeled a whisper-pink Jay Godfrey dress with a keyhole cutout at the bodice and cutouts on both hips. She accessorized the ensemble with a lavender snakeskin Rebecca Minkoff clutch, Schutz shoes, and jewelry by Le Vian, Doves and Borgioni.
The Balancing in Heels author shared a snap of her complete outfit via Instagram and wrote, “All dolled up 💄 #NancyDavisFoundation #CharityEvent.”
Of course, while she seemed to enjoy her night on the town, the former reality star couldn’t resist gushing about her life at home. “Being a mom [is when I feel most confident], period,” Cavallari told Us on the red carpet. “Like, that’s when I feel like I really came into my own and became the person that I was always meant to be.”
And indeed, she jetted home to Chicago the very next morning. She shared a airborne pic from the plane and captioned, “Chi-town #BackToMyBabies ❤️.”
