ICYMI, L.A. is really, really hot. Temperatures soared past 120 degrees on Tuesday, June 21, and it’s affecting Kim Kardashian‘s and younger sister Khloe Kardashian’s styles in very different ways.
On the one hand, Kim, 35, shed most of her layers in favor of an army green skintight minidress and nude, sky-high sandals. And even that wasn’t enough to prevent the Selfish author from dreaded boob sweat; tiny spots were visible just below Kim’s chest. Despite overheating, her makeup and hair were still on point. The Kimoji creator wore her tresses down in tousled waves and her signature brown smoky eye was flawless.
The mom to North, 3, and Saint, 6 months, is used to wearing full furs and long coats even as the sun blasts down in California. In fact, she recently admitted, while pregnant with baby No. 2, that it takes a lot to make her feel warm. “I don’t care what the weather is, I will always wear my coats,” she wrote in a post on her website at the time. “I am always freezing, so it works out perfectly for me!”
It seems Khloe, on the other hand, has not been affected by the rising mercury. The Strong Looks Better Naked author, 31, took the complete opposite approach from her older sister, covering up from head to toe. Khloe donned a second-skin black bodysuit while shopping at Sephora at the Commons in Calabasas, California, and topped it off with a matching duster sweater and suede over-the-knee boots. Oversized hoop earrings and aviator shades completed her opposite-of-summer style.
