Out of this world! Kate Middleton attended a special BAFTA charity screening of Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas in London on Monday, Oct. 26, wearing a fit-and-flare dress that boasted the trend of the moment: a space print.
The 33-year-old Duchess of Cambridge paired the intergalactic dress by Tabitha Webb with black suede Jimmy Choo vpumps and a square clutch. She styled her famous chestnut tresses into her signature bouncy blowout, with her face-framing bangs swept off to both sides.
The mom of two — Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 5 months — was joined by her husband, Prince William, and his brother, Prince Harry, both of whom looked sharp in their tailored suits.
The royal trio were on hand to screen a part of the animated stop-motion comedy, based on the hit TV series — and to get in on the fun! While the princes participated in some “Welly wanging” (in this case, throwing miniature Wellington boots in an attempt to knock over cardboard farm critters, much to the delight of the children present), Middleton was at the forefront of the British film org’s master class on animation, hamming it up in front of a green screen so that the animators could show the audience how it’s done. (At one point, William shouted to the stage, “Make Catherine do a silly walk!” Naturally, she obliged.)
All three later participated in an informal meeting of their Charities Forum, the Duke, Duchess, and Prince Harry’s collection of charities.
While it was an exciting screening for those assembled, the royals are expected at an event bigger event later in the day: the debut of the latest James Bond film, Spectre, starring Daniel Craig as the ever-charming 007, at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
