Julia Louis-Dreyfus might have creeped out her Instagram followers when she posted a selfie with a gooey green mask on as she prepped for the 2016 SAG Awards on Saturday, January 30. But, if her gorgeous skin on the red carpet was any indication, the beauty treatment did its job perfectly.
“The process has begun. Feeling confident,” she wrote alongside the behind-the-scenes photo.
Despite her pre-show appearance, the VEEP star, 55, looked radiant as she headed into the Shrine Auditorium with healthy, hydrated skin. For those tempted to try the slimy product, you’re in luck — we’ve found it and it retails for only $7.
Louis-Dreyfus’ makeup artist Karen Kawahara prepped the SAG Award nominee’s skin with the Green Tea Water Bomb Mask from 100percentpure.com. The lime-colored sheet contains soothing aloe, rose petals, chamomile, cucumbers and, of course, its namesake Green Tea for a fresh, wide-awake feeling.
After the Seinfeld alum took the mask off, Kawahara built upon Louis-Dreyfus’ hydrated complexion with Sheer Water Foundation in Peach Bisque, and added a natural flush with Pot Rouge blush in Rosy. “[Julia’s look] was romantic, feminine and flirty,” Kawahara said.
Would you use the green mask?
