It’s what every little girl dreams about: The day she picks out her wedding dress! And on the Tuesday, Sept. 23’s episode of 19 Kids and Counting, Jill Duggar’s bridal-gown shopping day was brought to life for fans.
As seen in the clip, Duggar—now Jill Dillard since tying the knot—models two potential dresses for her big day. The first one she steps out in is a true princess gown, complete with a poofy skirt, that features a small, triangular, almost-sheer cutout at the neckline—a detail that seems to receive slight skepticism from her mom, Michelle.
While her family, including engaged sister Jessa, wait patiently, the fourth-eldest Duggar, 23, slips into her second dress: A fit-and-flare gown covered in lace, paired with a dainty, lace-trimmed veil.
“I have a few different ideas, but you don’t really know until you try a dress on,” Duggar explains in the clip. “You can see something hanging up and be like, ‘Oh, I like it!’ But then [you can] put it on and be like, ‘Ugh.’”
Though both gowns elicited oohs and aahs from all in attendance, the second of the frocks looks to be the one the bride chose to wear to her nuptials to Derick Dillard on June 21. And already, the happy couple are expecting their first child, announced Aug. 20.
