Jennifer Lopez may have showed up to Jimmy Kimmel Live! in a glitzy gold jumpsuit by designer Michael Kors, but during her Monday, January 4, interview, she revealed that she’s a secret discount shopper.
“I do shop at Marshalls. Yes, why not?” Lopez, 46, who will begin a residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas starting on January 20, told host Jimmy Kimmel, adding, “I do, I like shopping, I like the bargain places, yeah. I like mixing things up.”
When Kimmel, 48, asked whether or not other customers “pass out in the aisles” when they see the American Idol judge, she said she’s good at flying under the radar. “You wouldn’t recognize me I don’t think,” the mom to Emme Maribel, 7, and Maximilian David, 7, revealed.
She goes for a similarly low-key style in her new police drama TV series, Shades of Blue, debuting January 7 on NBC, which led Kimmel to joke, “There would be no crime if the police looked like you! Or maybe there would be more crime if the police looked like you.”
