Ever since Jenna Dewan Tatum debuted a layered bob in June 2015, she has woken up with perfect hair.
“You’re going to hate me,” Dewan Tatum, 35, told Glamour‘s Lipstick about the chop. “Generally I shower or use dry shampoo, and it lays like this because it’s such a good cut. It just lays nice. I have wavy hair, so it just falls into place, but it’s way easier than long hair.”
The Witches of East End alum turned to the celebrity hairstylist behind Chrissy Teigen’s and Khloe Kardashian‘s lobs. “Jen Atkin and her magical scissors is what it is,” she said of her hair secret.
Though she loves her cut now, and admits that she keeps going shorter each time, the mother of Everly, 2, wasn’t always so laissez-faire. “I was a little bit afraid of having short hair, because when you have long hair, it sort of becomes a crutch,” she told Lipstick. “I was always like, ‘No, no, no, no’ and I thought a lot of the roles I was getting or responding to was because they liked my long hair. But then I decided, ‘I’m going to do what I want to do, and the universe will line up’ and it did.”
