Happy birthday? Giuliana Rancic, who turned 41 on Monday, Aug. 17, shared an incredibly awkward throwback pic via Instagram to mark the day.
The shot shows the former E! News host as a gangly teen with cropped permed hair as she worked on her tennis flow in an oversized blue and white striped shorts outfit and white sneakers.
But the photo wasn’t the only gift the mom to Edward Duke Rancic, 2, had for fans. She also captioned the image with an inspiring message. "On my birthday, I would like to take a moment to share this embarrassing 'modeling' shot of me at 13 yrs old as a public service to young women everywhere,"she wrote. "If this lanky, awkward, athletically challenged girl with the bad perm, bad skin, bad fashion sense and brace face had the confidence to think she could make her dreams come true, then by golly, so can you! Thank you for all the birthday wishes!!! I couldn’t have wished for a better day today."
