Fifty shades of fashionable!
With the release of Fifty Shades of Grey less than a month away, star Dakota Johnson is already whetting our appetites with a steamy shoot for Vogue.
The 21 Jump Street actress, 25, covers the fashion bible’s February issue. With her naturally blonde hair dyed Anastasia Steele brunette, Johnson appears natural and demure. Her long locks are barely styled, just draped loosely around her shoulders. Her face boasts only minimal makeup.
Inside the issue, Johnson takes a cue from her erotic character by stripping down to her skivvies. A short-sleeved white sweater covers her curves on top, but her long legs are bare and on full display.
But Johnson did more than just pose pretty for Vogue! Naming Melanie Griffith‘s daughter as a “breakout star” on its cover, the mag put Johnson’s talent to good use by having her star in a short film to accompany the issue’s release.
Titled “Just a Minute” and directed by Gustav Johansson, the short features the Need for Speed actress strutting around a retro-styled dressing room, clad in a lace camisole, silk shirt, and buttoned skirt. While Johnson’s character asks for one more minute to rest, Max Minghella (as an unseen PA) attempts to coax her out onto the set with the Christian Grey-worthy line: “If I do give you a minute, how long can you make it last?”
