How fresh and fabulous is Elizabeth Olsen? While her twin sisters have been a mainstay on the scene for years (not to mention being mini fashion moguls!), younger sis Lizzy is on a new trajectory. One that is sure to catapult her to red carpet fame this season!
At the premiere of her film Martha Marcy May Marlene at the Toronto Film Festival, Olsen looked the part of the ingénue in a hippy-chic floral dress. Her half up/half down hair complemented the look. "As soon as I saw Elizabeth’s long, gorgeous, bohemian flowered dress, I knew her hair had to be relaxed and easy for a sweet, sexy vibe," says her stylist Jenny Cho. Cho tells Us Weekly how to recreate the look.
First, apply a golf-ball size of mousse to wet hair, then layer on a pea-sized drop of styling cream and blow dry using a diffuser. Next, mist with a heat protecting spray and use a curling iron to redirect sections of hair away from the face. Apply dry shampoo for texture, then flip hair upside down to add body. Take the section at the crown and gently backcomb roots and set with hairspray. Twist to create a bump and secure with pins. Pull back the front sections from both sides and pin into the bump. Spritz with hairspray for all-night hold.
