And celebrity makeup artist Mai Quyn shared the inspiration for Moretz’s look as well as a breakdown for all the products used to create the the stunning beauty statement. Quyn and Moretz settled upon the glam by using her Miu Miu dress as inspiration, “I wanted to keep the focus on the mouth by giving Chloe a very dark lip paired with bright eyes. Her hair and Miu Miu dress gave a retro glam look with a modern twist,” she explained.

To create a deep lip that would make the OG blonde bombshell proud, Quyn used the Pat McGrath Labs lipstick in the shade Deep Void. The beauty pro also created a warm haze around the actress’ eyes to make her blue peepers pop. First, Quy applied the Pat McGrath Labs Mothership II: Sublime Palette using the shades VR Nectar and Copper Toned onto her eyelids from the lash line to the crease. Then, she added Astral Ghost Orchid blended with a bit of Skinshow Glow to the beauty’s inner corners as a highlight. To define the crease, Quyn then swept the shade Dark, with care to make sure all of the edges were blended together.

Since the former 30 Rock star’s lips and lids were such a statement, Quyn took care to make sure that her complexion was applied with a light touch: she swept the Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Highlighter + Balm Duo in Bronze onto her cheeks and then layered a pinky bronze powder blush on top.

And just like that, Moretz was the picture of a screen siren.
