Keep on shining!
Carrie Underwood was in a metallic state of mind for the Academy of Country Music Awards 2016 in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3. The Female Vocalist of the Year nom, 33, picked a gold Davidson Zanine gown and Rene Caovilla sandals for the red carpet. The semi-sheer column, which featured intricate beading all over, showed off her long, lean legs. She frosted herself with Bavna diamond earrings and a diamond ring.
But that was just part one of a bright night. Underwood took the stage to perform her new single, “Church Bells.” The mom of 13-month-old Isaiah changed into a super-short Manual Diaz mini that would make any nun blush with its way above-the-knee hemline. The one-sleeved cage dress and her custom strappy shoes showed off her toned legs. Graziela Gems earrings and Mariana Harutunian bracelet and rings added even more bling.
Although she tore the house down with her performance, Underwood tweeted about the silver lining of her night:
“Made it back home in time for @TheWalkingDead season finale!!! OMG, I can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!! I’m freaking out!!!” she posted.
