Beckham sandwich! Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen shared a moment with Victoria and David Beckham inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala on Monday, May 5, and Us Weekly has exclusive proof, courtesy of Vogue.com!
The Beckhams — wearing sleek and sophisticated white outfits — mingled inside the museum with the dynamic designer duo, who also coordinated ensembles. Victoria, who looked beautiful in a design of her own, and her soccer stud hubby — both poised and sandwiched between The Row designers — beamed at the camera with the famous twins.
An observer on the red carpet tells Us the Brits were “very affectionate” for their night out. “She had her hand on his shoulder and then around his back.” Indeed, the former Spice Girl gushed about her Met Ball experience the next morning and tweeted, “So proud to share such a great evening with my wonderful husband.”
Another big-name power couple, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, displayed an unprecedented amount of affection at the ball — just like their British counterparts! An eyewitness on the red carpet tells Us Weekly the married couple “completely exuded old Hollywood glamour” in their glam Gucci ensembles. The source adds that as the gorgeous Gossip Girl alum gave interviews, “Ryan was looking her up and down and watching her lovingly.”
Finally, Anne Hathaway experienced a fun entrance into the grand hall of the museum with Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa, whom she accompanied to the event. Both star and designer goofed off in front of the opulent rose-embellished statue greeting guests.
