The switch-up! Ariana Grande, who’s known for her long, brown ponytail, showed off three major hair changes within one day, going from dark to light, on November 12.
The “Dangerous Woman” singer, 23, traded her honey blonde–streaked locks for a deeper brown hue courtesy of celebrity stylist Aaron Light. “da f–ks up there?” she eloquently captioned a glamour shot done by photographer Jones Crow.
But instead of treating her 88.7 million followers to more photos of her long dark ponytail, she kept the changes coming with a black-and-white selfie posted a few hours later. In it, the Grammy nominee rocked a blonde wig way brighter than her mane from this summer.
“blonde (wig) ambition @chrisappleton1 ☕️….. just for now #Faith @singmovie 👀🎬,” she captioned, tagging the celebrity stylist and mentioning Sing, the animated movie in which she appears on the soundtrack.
That was just an appetizer though. On November 13, she finally gave her eager fans a peek at her temporary look, in color. “I’m not blonde ✌🏼️🍂💡,” she warned. But the Arianators still delighted in their fearless leader’s topknot and shoulder-length wavy locks with dark roots. “You. Are. Beautiful. In. Any. Color. Ari,” @scottsquire8312 gushed.
Grande proved that fan right in one last upload (for now!). The musician, who plays Penny in NBC’s Hairspray Live on December 7, got in character for another November 13 post on set, in which she donned a light brown mane with a mini beehive, bangs and a green hair bow.
