Fuller House

A sequel to ABC’s Full House, Fuller House centers around the oldest Tanner daughter, D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure), along with younger sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber) living in the Tanners’ childhood home. Most of the original Full House cast returned as their beloved ‘90s characters either in regular roles or in guest appearances, with the exception of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who shared the role of Michelle Tanner.

Lori Loughlin, who played Becky Donaldson Katsopolis, was involved in a nationwide college admissions scandal in 2019 before the fifth season of Fuller House. She was accused of paying $500,000 for her daughter’s admission into the University of California and of lying to the production company about her involvement in the scandal. Loughlin did not return for the last season of the series and eventually served time in prison.

Fuller House aired on Netflix in 2016 until 2020 for a total of five seasons. John Stamos, who reprised his original role as Jesse Katsopolis, was a leading voice in getting the series into production and sat as executive producer for the show.
