Based on Julia Quinn‘s romance novels of the same name, season 1 of the steamy series hit Netflix in December 2020 and followed the love story of Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page). Like the books that inspired it, the show puts a spotlight on a different Bridgerton sibling with each season. The Shondaland hit has broken viewership records and was renewed for seasons 3 and 4 in April 2021.
