Let’s face it: Diets are anything but straightforward. Not only are there hundreds of them out there, but they all come with just so many specifications! From counting macros to counting carbs, it seems that the only way to find a diet that works for our bodies and fits our lifestyle is by employing the help of a nutritionist. Even when we do find a diet that’s theoretically made to work, however, figuring out what we can and can’t eat (paleo, keto and Whole 30, anyone?) requires a degree in nutrition, biology and potentially a dash of witchcraft.

The absolute hardest part of a diet, however, isn’t figuring out what works — rather, it’s sticking to the plan every single day. Motivation is one of the hardest parts (if not the hardest part) of any weight loss or health journey and one of the biggest components of finding a diet that works for our lives is just how easy it is to work it into our day-to-day. Anything that keeps our hands away from the siren call of Chipotle takeout needs to be super easy, filling, fast and delicious!

Of course, if none of the above work for our needs, or if we’re traveling, plan on being out of town or have a varied workweek, we can create a custom program for just our needs.

Once we select a program that works for our schedules and order what we need, the registered BistroMD’s registered dieticians create a custom program for our diets. We can then enter and control the menu we receive week-to-week. We can even set and update our taste preferences in the member portal, totally putting us in control of our own meal plan as well as being able to review the menu we have, make any changes as well as totally customize our own diet program.
