How many of us have significant others, family members or roommates who won’t stop stealing our skincare products? They claim they’re not interested and that they don’t want to bother buying their own, and yet every night, they step out of the bathroom looking dewy and fresh, so we know something’s up!

In a video for the Harper’s BAZAAR “Go To Bed With Me” series, the actor couple led us through their nighttime beauty routines. When Santana, whom we may recognize from shows such as Santa Clarita Diet or Salem, began applying The Eye Concentrate on herself, Metcalfe, who rose to fame after playing the titular character in John Tucker Must Die, made his confession.
“I enjoy stealing this eye cream,” he said before defending himself. “As I’m getting older I really need to combat these wrinkles and bags under my eyes.”
Santana asked Metcalfe why he couldn’t just buy his own eye cream, though she immediately followed up by happily applying some to him as well. While she was reluctant to share (“I do share, but this is La Mer!”), the two agreed that more couples should do their nighttime routine together, calling it a “bonding experience” and “a nice way to decompress.”
This conditioning eye cream is beloved by countless celebs and skincare fans alike. Reviewers are begging others to “invest” in our skin with this cream, many agreeing that a little goes a long way and that the jar will last basically forever. Others also reported on sharing The Eye Concentrate with their spouses, noting that “dark circles are no more” in their homes!

This eye cream is formulated with the magnetically-charged hematite, and claims to not only target dark circles, but surface discoloration and unevenness, as well. It may fill out fine lines and wrinkles and take our under-eye area from dull and rough to smooth and luminous. It may totally soothe puffy eyes, too, and some shoppers actually like to keep it in the fridge for extra de-puffing power!
To use this cult-favorite cream, we can use the sleek, included applicator to dab just a bit under the eye, sweeping and gently massaging for increased microcirculation. The only other step is to catch our roomie in the act as they go to do the same thing! Sharing is caring, but we totally get if anyone wants to store this concentrate in a locked safe.
For unmatched moisture with no greasy residue left behind, La Mer is forever a staple in eye care. As to be expected from such a luxurious brand, this cream is also paraben-free, sulfate-free and phthalate-free. It’s also rich and endlessly hydrating, and we are definitely fans for life!
