Apparently absence really does make the heart grow fonder. After an unexplained three-year absence, Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch will reportedly be back on supermarket shelves just in time for this holiday season.

The festive cereal, which is a seasonal take on Cinnamon Toast Crunch, was last sold around the holidays in 2015, but hasn’t been seen or heard from since despite many devoted fans who have pleaded for its return. However, some leaked art from General Mills seems to indicate Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch is poised for a return in 2018.

The cereal box, which will be available in family-size, features two cereal squares wearing Santa hats resting in a red and green stocking, according to the Cerealously Instagram account. Food blogger JunkBanter, who praised “sweet Sugar Cookie Jesus” once Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch’s return was announced, said of the limited-edition breakfast food, “It’s the only product I’ve ever rated 100 out of 10, which feels low to me as I write this today.”

“For me this is also proof that if you Tweet and torment a company like @generalmills and assemble an army of sugar cookie activists to do the same, you can eventually get whatever you want,” JunkBanter added.

But what exactly is so great about this cereal? According to Delish, Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch tastes like “sugar cookies meeting graham crackers, then doused in flaky vanilla icing.” With a description like that, it’s not hard to see why people love it!
