Colton Underwood Drank White Wine on 'The Bachelor’ – Twitter Reacts

Colton Underwood; he’s just like Us! Well, sort of. Though some viewers of season 23 of The Bachelor have had a tougher time relating to the show’s latest suitor, Colton, 27, seemingly endeared himself to many TV viewers across the country during the Monday, February 4, episode of the reality TV staple by drinking a glass of white wine.

Though the reality star previously told Us Weekly that kombucha – a fermented, slightly alcoholic tea drink – is something he purchases “in bulk,” he’s apparently a fan of vino as well.

The imbibing occurred after an eventful day for the former NFL player, which included going on a date with Heather that ended with her first kiss. Colton later called the smooch, which occurred as the pair stood on the beach and watched fireworks, “magical,” but whatever post-kiss glee he felt didn’t last long.

Shortly after sharing a kiss with Heather, Colton was confronted by Elyse, who was armed with a bombshell of her own. After admitting that she needed more time and attention to make a relationship work, the contestant said she could not accept a proposal from Colton after sharing him with other women for months, and ultimately ended the relationship and left the ABC show. She later revealed she was “disgusted” with herself.

Following Elyse’s eventful departure, Colton whipped out a bottle of white wine and poured himself a glass – a move that many Twitter users could easily identify with. “I think Colton is more confused than anything and him afterwards pouring a glass of wine was a good, relatable move,” wrote one Twitter user. Added another: “Is Colton drinking a glass of wine post breakup?! The most relatable he has ever been.”

However, other Bachelor fans were nonplused by Colton’s drink of choice. As one naysayer put it, “The last straw with Colton is seeing he drinks white wine.”
