In this together! TLC is launching an unscripted series called Two in a Million that centers on pairs of people bonding over sharing the same rare medical conditions, Us Weekly has exclusively learned.
The series, premiering April 6 and produced by Raw, will show the duos meeting and spending a week together to exchange stories of setbacks and breakthroughs, visit doctors and seek additional answers.
One episode will show young boys Giovanni and Owen, who both suffer from Schwartz Jampel syndrome, causing them to permanently have contracted muscles.
The first trailer reveals the challenges that the individuals face on a day-to-day basis and shows the emotional introductions between the pairs.
“My wish is to meet someone that knows how I feel,” one of the SJS sufferers says in the footage.
