Finally comfortable in her own skin. Scott Disick’s relationship with Caitlyn Jenner has improved dramatically since the former Olympian went public with her transition last year — and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex believes it has everything to do with how she sees herself.
“I see a dramatic change, and not visually so much, but really just emotionally,” Disick, 32, says on the Sunday, April 17, episode of I Am Cait. “I really believe when Caitlyn was Bruce, he was really shut off and angry and just wasn’t happy, and now that she can be who she really wants to be, it’s a whole different person, and I feel a real connection.”
During the second part of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce special last May, Disick expressed relief after Bruce explained why he’d always felt disingenuous in their interactions.
“I felt like for so many years, you know, me and you had a big disconnect, and if I would have had any idea of some of the things that you were struggling with, I wouldn’t have been so insecure about why we couldn’t get along properly, sometimes,” Disick admitted.
In a preview clip of the episode, the self-proclaimed Lord and Jenner, 66, are having a chat on the sofa when an annoying beep keeps interrupting their conversation.
“What’s with all the beeping?” Disick asks, clearly irritated.
Jenner explains that the batteries in her smoke detector have gone kaput, but that she hasn’t had time to replace them.
“Do you have to sleep with that?” Disick asks as another piercing screech blasts through the air. “Oh, my god! It gets me every time.”
The father of three then helps Jenner fix her smoke detector, and the pair bond over the silly situation.
