Let's hope fans of Ricky Gervais got their fill at Sunday's Golden Globes, because the Brit comic insists he's done hosting the annual film and TV awards fest.
Under strict orders from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (and the censors) not to curse, Gervais says that his opening monologue's jabs at Kim Kardashian, Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster helped make his third time at the mic memorable.
"The crowd were great this year too," the comic — who was slammed for his offensive commentary on Charlie Sheen and Hugh Hefner, among others, at last year's show — wrote on his blog. "I think they finally worked out that my gags only seemed rude and nasty but were actually not too scary at all. Or they were just drunker. Either way, it was fun…"
Still, the 50-year-old says he's had his fill of skewering Hollywood heavyweights.
"I've told my agent to never let me be persuaded to [host] again," he blogged. "It's like a parachute jump. You can only really enjoy it in retrospect when you realize you didn't die and it was quite an amazing thing to do."
