Revenge fans were hanging on the edge of their couches at the close of last week's episode, where Victoria's former BFF — and Conrad's mistress — Lydia Davis fell out a window and seemingly met an untimely end after a scuffle with the Grayson family security guard.
But as this preview clip from Wednesday's all-new episode shows, Lydia (Amber Valletta) may not be on a slab at the morgue just yet.
Debriefing Emily (Emily VanCamp) about the hidden camera footage he took of the scuffle between Lydia and security guard Frank, in which Lydia appeared to fall out the window by accident, Nolan wonders who will be responsible for her death.
"Lydia might die because of us," Nolan (Gabriel Mann) tells Emily in the clip. But Emily isn't convinced, and holds out hope her plan to pit the Graysons against their security guard will work.
"If Lydia dies, it's because she sold her soul to the Graysons," Emily snipes. "This wasn't supposed to happen. I didn't set any of this in motion — they did."
"As far as the Graysons know, Lydia attempted suicide," she continues. "When they see this video, they'll know Frank lied to them. Frank dug his own grave. All we need is for Victoria and Conrad to bury him in it."
Revenge airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. (EST) on ABC.
