What tricks are hiding up Emily Thorne’s sleeve this week?
In a sneak peek from the October 7 episode of ABC’s Revenge, Emily (Emily VanCamp, 26) phones her ex-fiance, Daniel Grayson (Josh Bowman, 24), to discuss his sister Charlotte’s recent drug bust.
“I hope you don’t mind me calling you,” she tells Daniel. “It’s just that something’s been bothering me since Memorial Day. . . Before they took Charlotte away, she whispered something in my ear. She said that she was scared of her doctor.”
Though Daniel is dismissive at first, Emily presses on. “I did some research on Dr. Thomas last night and it turns out he has a history of keeping his patients longer than necessary to pad his billing,” she informs him. “You don’t think it’s possible that he fixed the drug test results, do you?”
Unsure what to believe, Daniel conducts a web search of his own. “I hope I did the right thing by calling you,” Emily says. “I’d hate to think that anyone was taking advantage of Charlotte.”
Revenge airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
