In the hot seat … again. Nick Gordon has lined up his first interview since the release of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s autopsy results — and it’s with a familiar face. Gordon will appear on an upcoming episode of Dr. Phil, which is set to air on Thursday, April 28.
Dr. Phil released a sneak peek of Gordon’s new interview on Monday, April 11. Gordon, 20, will discuss his late girlfriend and the aftermath of her death.
Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub on January 31, 2015, and died at the age of 22 that July, after spending months in a coma. Last month, the Fulton County Medical Examiner confirmed to Us Weekly that the once-aspiring singer — the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston — died from a combination of drowning and drug intoxication.
“Tell me what happened the night Krissy went into the coma,” Dr. Phil says to Gordon in the promo for his new interview. “I want to give you a chance to set the record straight. Did you murder Bobbi Kristina Brown?”
As previously reported, Bobby Brown has remained insistent that Gordon had something to do with his daughter’s death. However, no charges have been filed against Gordon in connection with the incident.
Gordon and Dr. Phil have sat down together before. In March 2015, Dr. Phil conducted an intervention and ordered Gordon to go to rehab to be treated for alcohol abuse. He exited rehab the following month and resurfaced in Florida that June.
