Is marriage already a buzzkill? Married at First Sight newlyweds Tres and Vanessa have a major rift over his drinking in the Tuesday, January 5, episode, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive first look.
Vanessa, who has struggled to come to terms with her new hubby’s party-filled past, is not happy when she comes home to see him passed out after he went drinking with family and friends.
“It’s offensive because in my mind, it’s almost like you’re not ready to be a husband,” Vanessa tells the camera.
However, Tres believes that Vanessa is being too hard on him.
“I feel like you think that I’m not really changing or compromising or anything, but I feel like I’m changing and compromising a ton,” Tres says to his wife.
