Hold the compliments! Married at First Sight‘s Samantha Role meets her mom for salads in the Tuesday, January 26, episode, where the new bride shares plenty of strong opinions about husband Neil Bowlus, as seen in Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek.
Samantha and Neil have endured their share of difficulties since the tying the knot. They are now living separately, as he felt out of place in the apartment that she shares with her roommate.
In the FYI series’ footage, Samantha tells her mom that the couple struggle with voicing their opinions in a constructive way.
“I’m still trying to understand how to make things work,” she says. “We don’t communicate the same way — he’s very passive-aggressive. That’s also an area to have to work through, because it’s hard.”
Meanwhile, the clip shows Neil’s neighbor asking the recent groom if he is still attracted to Sam.
“There has been no growth in that attraction department, and I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that we don’t bond,” Neil replies.
