Finally getting answers. A man tearfully kisses a photo of his biological mom in Long Lost Family‘s Sunday, April 17, episode, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
Benjamin, who lives in Rhode Island, has spent his whole life hoping to one day meet the woman who gave birth to him. Additionally, he has always wanted to know why she placed him for adoption but raised his two older sisters.
In the TLC series’ preview clip, cohost Lisa Joyner tells Ben that his mom placed him because she wanted the best for him, not to mention she was worried Ben wouldn’t be safe around his biological father.
When Joyner hands him a pic of his biological mom, Ben breaks down in tears and kisses it. He says, “Her eyes look like mine. She looks so nice and pleasant.”
“This is my mom!” he adds incredulously. He then says to Joyner, “I’ve waited to ask this question my whole life: Does she want to see me?”
Find out the cohost’s response in the video above.
Long Lost Family airs on TLC Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.
