‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ Recap: Kim Kardashian Helps Control Kendall Jenner’s Anxiety With Surprising Treatment

Sleep tight! On the Sunday, November 6, episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kendall Jenner revealed that she was struggling with a terrifying disorder and had no idea what to do. Her sister Kim Kardashian was also having some issues, but it was Kourtney Kardashian whose problem couldn’t be cured by any doctor. (Hint: Her problem was, as usual, Scott Disick.)

Scott got invited by Kris Jenner to have some tea with her “cougar squad.” Things went so well that Kris invited him over “to swim” later, but when he got there, he found that all of her friends were in the pool doing water aerobics. Weirder still, they wanted him to join in.

“It’s a little bit of a weird life that I lead here,” he admitted in a confessional.

Later, Kim and Kourtney confronted Scott about the “tea party” and water aerobics. Kourtney was especially suspicious of her ex’s motives, leading him to wonder if he should call it quits with the squad.

A few days later, Kris called him and was furious that he had flaked on the ladies during a planned lunch, so it looked like Kourtney got to him. When Khloé Kardashian found out about that, she told him that her sisters were just haters, and he was better off hanging out with her mom’s friends than his old ones.

By the end of the episode, Scott had rejoined the crew and attended a wine-fueled painting class with all of his new friends. “Age is just a number, and I love all these ladies!” he exclaimed.

What a Nightmare

Kendall called Kris during a break for one of her photo shoots, asking, “Have you ever had sleep paralysis?”

She explained to the camera that she had recently begun waking up, only to find that she couldn’t move. She called it “terrifying” and explained that it was happening because her anxiety about traveling is so intense. For the most part, it only happened on planes.

“Everyone says I’m fine, but I don’t feel fine,” she told her incredulous mother. When they met in person a few days later, Kendall said she didn’t want to go to her scheduled events around the world in the coming weeks. Kris reminded her that the very nature of her career involves jet-setting, and Kendall shot back that her health is more important.

During all of that, they took a few photos together, and the supermodel joked she would caption one with “Selfies with fans.” Guess what? She did.

Don’t Hate — Meditate!

Kim accompanied Kendall to an event in L.A., which Kendall was grateful for, since it didn’t involve traveling or working alone. During some downtime, she confided in Kim about her sleep paralysis. Kim was shocked and revealed that she suffers from anxiety too.

A few days later, Kris went to Kim’s and asked her for advice on dealing with Kendall’s “debilitating” problems. Kim suggested they try to help one another by going to therapy together.

The therapist they found ended up coming to Kim’s house, but Kendall was resistant to her techniques, so Kim spent some one-on-one time with the therapist in the car. Apparently, Kim’s biggest anxiety centers around being afraid of car accidents!

The next time the therapist called, Kim told her that she hadn’t felt any anxiety since their car trip. Sadly, she couldn’t say the same about Kendall.

Next up, Kim asked Kendall to come over and tried to get her to meditate. Because she’s Kim Kardashian, she hired actual meditation teachers, who were sitting on pillows in the backyard. Amazingly, it worked! Kendall — and we quote — “loved it!”
