Bottoms up! On the March 9 episode of Kocktails With Khloe, the hostess with the mostess caught up with singer Cassie, comedian Alec Mapa, Black Jesus star Slink Johnson and the inimitable Vivica A. Fox. Guests downed a concoction called the Treasure, which featured ice cubes containing herbs that would infuse the drink as the ice melted — though no one addressed the fact that this would also obviously water the whole thing down (details, details).
Khloé Is Not Impressed With the Celibacy Trend
As always, Khloé Kardashian wasted no time diving in to some hot topics. First on her list was Hollywood’s recent “vow of celibacy” trend. (Apparently, this is a trend.) Khloé cited two couples to support her claim: Ciara and Russell Wilson, as well as Meagan Good and DeVon Franklin (who actually wrote a book about it called The Wait).
After pointing out that it was pretty obvious Ciara was not a virgin based on the fact that she has a child, Khloé shrugged off the whole idea of publicly announcing you are no longer going to have sex. “Who are you trying to prove this to?” she asked. “Is this a look?”
The conversation then veered toward the technicalities that one can do while still remaining “celibate.” While some acts were up for debate, Cassie, Alec and Khloé all agreed “backdoor” action counts.
Cassie Opened Up About Her Relationship With Puff
Khloé then put Cassie in the hot seat, asking her to define her current relationship with a former guest on her late-night talk show, Sean “Puffy” Combs. (ICYMI, when he was on, he and Khloé mostly discussed all of his different names — it turned out Cassie calls him Puff.)
The pair have been together for eight years, according to Cassie’s estimates, but she was less definitive about the exact status. “I just recently went away to South Africa for two months, which was just a life-changing experience, and I was filming a movie,” she explained. “That was a testing time. Long-distance relationships are really hard.” Everyone agreed that was true. “I don’t really know how to explain to you what my relationship is, but you know, I love him.”
Naturally, Khloé took the opportunity to shed more light on her relationship status with Lamar Odom. “I don’t think anything romantically about Lamar,” she insisted. “I’m coming from a place of complete care and concern, and I want Lamar’s well-being as a human, but people find that so bizarre, for some reason.”
She went on to explain how important a role Lamar had in her life. “They’re your business partner, your best friend, someone you call and speak to every day,” she mused.
Vivica A. Fox Does Not Consider Herself a Cougar
After pointing out that many people think Vivica is a cougar, Khloé asked the Empire star, 51, if she considers herself to be one. The answer, though a bit long-winded, was basically no.
“I’m very proud that I’m a woman that’s in my 50s now, and I can’t date someone that’s — I at least want him to be going toward 40,” she began. “And what’s crazy is that I always get the ones that are, like, hot, and I’m like, ‘Yes, and let’s get a drink!’ And then he’s like, ‘I’m 27.’ I don’t want to be someone’s sugar mama. I want in life for someone to take care of me.”
Khloé chimed in that her mom, in her 60s, is dating someone in his 30s. “At first it was weird. I was like, ‘He’s literally younger than Kourtney, who’s her oldest daughter,'” she recalled. “But then I was like, ‘To each their own. What am I hating on my mom for?'” She went on to insist she loved “how happy” her mom is.
Khloé Was Not Happy When Her Dad’s Ex-Wife Questioned Khloé’s Paternity
During a round of a game Khloé called “Slangin’ Susan,” which involved a bunch of questions written on note cards placed on a lazy Susan, Khloé revealed one of the few times someone got under skin by making a public claim about her.
“I think the thing that most became overwhelming was when the stuff happened with one of my dad’s wives,” she explained. “She wanted to come out like 10 years later after my dad passed away and say that I’m not his daughter and that he confided in her.” Khloé argued it wasn’t the accusation that bothered her; it was the fact that this woman was involving Khloé’s late father in the press.
“I was like, ‘Listen, you can talk about me and my sisters all you want, but do not talk about my dad,'” she said.
Khloé Revealed She’s Had Sex in a Public Bathroom …
Well, if you count a private airplane’s bathroom as “public,” that is. During a round of a game called “Do Me,” Khloé admitted she had done the deed on a flight back from Las Vegas.
“I go to the restroom, and the guy I’m dating walks in,” she recalled. “I’m like, ‘Hello, everyone knows!’ And he’s like, ‘Everyone is asleep.'” It turned out, that was enough to convince her. “So then we do our thing, and I’m so hungover that I’m like, ‘Oh, everyone is asleep.’ Then I open the door, and everyone is wide awake!”
Sadly, she did not reveal which of her suitors had joined her in that mile-high romp, but there’s always next week!
