Kim Richards is once again proving that she’s no doormat! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star joins daughter Kimberly Jackson and other recognizable faces on Lifetime’s new unscripted series The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition, which released its first trailer on Thursday, January 28.
The series premieres March 1 and focuses on six mother-daughter pairs working with a therapist to improve their relationships. The other duos are Heidi Montag (The Hills) and mom Darlene Egelhoff, Courtney Stodden and mom Krista, Shar Jackson (Moesha) and daughter Cassie, Jessica Canseco (Hollywood Exes) and daughter Josie, and Natalie Nunn (Bad Girls Club) and mom Karen.
The promo reveals emotional exchanges between Kim, 51, and Kimberly, 20, that include the mom of four breaking down in tears and putting her face in her hands as she says, “I try not to cry. It’s been a hard time.”
Another scene features an intense altercation between Kim and some of her costars. She yells an expletive at Natalie and pushes Montag, with Natalie firing back, “This ain’t f–king Beverly Hills.” The moment is reminiscent of times when the Escape to Witch Mountain star has raised her voice on her Bravo series.
The past year has been a trying one for Kim, who is not a regular cast member on this season of RHOBH. In 2015, she was arrested twice and went to rehab, and her ex-husband, Monty Brinson, died earlier this month after battling cancer.

The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition, produced by 495 Productions and SallyAnn Salsano, premieres on Lifetime on March 1 at 10 p.m. EST.
