Bruce Jenner often takes a backseat to the rest of his family on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but the Sunday, May 17 episode was — as the title suggested — all about him. Or, more specifically, about his headline-making transition from male to female, and how the Kardashian-Jenner clan has handled it.
During the hour-long ep, part one of a two-part special, Bruce talked with each of the Kardashian and Jenner sisters — Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kylie — about his true self. They had mixed reactions to the news in the moment, but they’ve all since voiced their full support for the former Olympian.
The Kardashian girls reiterated that support on Twitter during the About Bruce special on Sunday night. While the younger girls were living it up (and dealing with boos!) at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, Kim, Kourtney, and especially Khloe were watching and tweeting with fans online.
Kourtney, 36, shared an Instagram promo for the show, writing alongside it: “Tonight we share a part of the journey we have been on in hopes of helping others in similar situations, or simply to help make the world a less judgmental place. We are all God’s creatures and we all have a story. Let’s work together to be kind.”
Her message was reiterated by Kim, 34, and Khloe, 30, who live-tweeted the entire episode. Both added their own comments while also responding to fan reactions, with Khloe admitting it was “hard to relive” at times.
