Kate Gosselin‘s kids don’t approve! The 40-year-old mom of eight gets plenty of feedback from her children about her blind date on the Tuesday, January 19, episode of Kate Plus 8, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
Gosselin has been set up by her friend with a guy named Vann, but not all of her younger girls are on board with their mom meeting a new man.
“She should not be dating at this age now,” says one of the sextuplets in the footage from the TLC series. “Do you see her? She’s 40 years old!”
Meanwhile, Mady, one of Gosselin’s 15-year-old twins, offers advice to her mom on what she should wear, as one dress in particular is deemed a bit old-fashioned.
“Let me just take a trip back to the ’70s really quick in this,” Mady quips. “Just, like, slap it on and hop in my time machine and go.”
A previously released clip from the episode showed Gosselin meeting her new man and referring to the date as “awkward.”
