They’re breaking out of their (taco) shells! Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald find a creative way to include baby Spurgeon on their date in Jill & Jessa: Counting On’s Tuesday, March 22, episode, as seen in Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek.
The TLC series’ clip shows Seewald, 20, admitting to the camera that he and his wife haven’t had many chances to bond outside of the home as a couple since their bundle of joy joined the world in November 2015.
“Jess and I would try to have pretty regular date nights before the baby was born,” he says of Spurgeon, 4 months. “Now that the baby’s born, we’re going to have to make more of a conscious effort to say, ‘Hey, let’s go out on a date together.'”
To that end, the couple pack their bag full of diapers and bring their son with them to their friend’s taco restaurant. Jessa, 23, feels this is a satisfactory destination, despite her sister Jinger Duggar‘s doubts.
“I love tacos — absolutely love tacos,” Jessa tells the camera. “I think it’s a romantic date location — taco shop.”
